[Cook&Chef 김철호 기자] 경기도 고양 빛마루 방송지원센터에서 열리고 있는 웰컴저축은행 2021-2022 PBA 팀리그 1라운드 경기가 이틀째 진행되었다. 지난해에 비해 NH 농협카드와 휴온스가 팀리그에 합류하며 8개 팀으로 1라운드를 시작하며 2경기씩을 치룬 어제까지의 성적을 보면 지난해 디펜딩 참피언 TS 샴프의 연속 2패의 끝없는 추락에 언제나 1승을 거둘지 상상이 가질 않는다.
2명의 외국인 선수가 빠지면서 김종원,한동우선수가 참가하며 명실공히 팀원 전체가 한국선수로 구성되게 되었다. 지난해 팀리그에서 막강한 팀전력으로 정규리그 우승팀인 웰컴저축은행을 물리치고 첫 챔피언자리에 오른 TS 샴프에 두 외국인 선수의 자리는 많이 커보인다.
여자선수도 정보라선수를 영입하여 혼자서 두 경기를 소화해 내던 ' 한국 여자 당구의 미래' 이미래선수의 역할이 분산되어 체력을 비축할 수 있는 기회는 되었으나 새로 영입된 선수들이 아직 팀리그에 적응하지 못한 채 이미래선수 만이 제 역할을 다 할뿐. 팀전체가 연약한 모습을 여실히 보여주고 있다. 지난해 챔피온의 끝없는 추락은 언제까지 계속될지 지켜보아야 할 것 같다.

현재 TS샴프에는 카리스마 넘치는 팀리더도 김병호선수처럼 오랜 경력을 가진 아버지같이 선수들을 토닥여 줄 수 있는 선수도 없는 실정이다. 지난해 디펜딩 챔피언 다운 면모를 언제쯤 보여주게 될지
